UGANDA MISSION OVERVIEW- 2021

Pastors Rick and Carol Brzezicki recently returned from a mission journey across seven churches in four regions of Uganda. The trip included leadership conferences, revival gatherings, and community outreach initiatives that served and encouraged hundreds of people.

Through the support of ministry partners and donors, approximately

500 meals were provided during the conferences, and over 200 reusable feminine hygiene kits were distributed through partnership with Uganda’s His Love Ministries, helping support women and girls who otherwise would not have access to these essential resources.

Thank you to everyone who supported the 2021 mission through prayer and financial giving. This mission focused on strengthening church partnerships, encouraging local leaders, supporting community-led outreach, and continuing practical care initiatives in a post-COVID season.

Two pictures above show living in the community with our family, Linda, Ivan and the children.  On a mission trip we do not stay in hotels but live with and support our local families.  All team members stay with families, when able.

OUR MISSION PRIORITIES

Our mission priorities continue to focus on supporting churches, medical outreach, conferences, and youth. Our Mission is built on community-led ideas and engagement.

COMMUNITY LED CONFERENCES

This mission provided an important opportunity for pastors, church leaders, and congregations to gather together for encouragement, ministry, and fellowship. Throughout seven churches across Uganda, including Kampala, Fort Portal, Kikongo, Kibito, Bundibugyo, and Kasese, we were able to preach the Gospel, strengthen leaders, and speak hope into the lives of hundreds of people.

WASHABLE SANITARY PADS
Through partnership with UpSkapes Ministries in Edmonton, reusable feminine hygiene products were distributed to women and teen girls in communities where these resources are often unavailable. These practical supports help women continue working and allow young girls to attend school consistently without missing important class time. The response from the communities was deeply encouraging, and the impact continues to bring dignity, support, and hope.

Uganda Medical Camps - Feb. 2020

Through years of engaging community needs in Africa, Heart for the Nations International has continued to respond to the effects of poverty through medical outreach initiatives in Uganda.

Heart for the Nations fully funded two medical outreaches in the rural community of Nsaggu, just outside Kampala City, with the support of volunteer medical professionals including doctors and registered nurses.

Our mission is centered on sharing the love and Gospel of Jesus Christ through practical medical care and compassionate community support for those who otherwise would not have access to treatment.

These medical camps were made possible through partnership with I AM SAYS the Lord Ministries and Destiny Doctors. Through mission support, funding, and volunteer resources, more than 1,500 patients were served during outreach efforts throughout 2019 and 2020.

All activities were conducted in cooperation with the Ugandan Ministry of Health through our licensed partners, Destiny Doctors.
